La Casa

The Home

CASAMIA is completely independent, recently renovated, very spacious, well-equipped in each room and is spread over two floors: you can only reach it on foot (20 meters from the parking lot) through a panoramic arched portico.
The entrance is directly into the living room which is the centerpiece of the whole house and is furnished with a large sof (wich become a bed for two people), two comfortable armchairs and the antique wooden table, of which you must have a minimum of care (Do not rest wet or boiling kitchenware and clean only with a damp cloth).
The kitchenette is exposed, well stocked with all the necessary dishes, pots, cutlery, plates, cups and is equipped with five-burner cooking hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, moka for traditional italian coffee, American coffee machine with filter and a mini pimer. Next to the kitchen there is the laundry room with washing machine and cellar.

From the living room you enter the first double room which is doorless, but is separated from the rest of the house with a curtain that obscures and repairs your own intimacy. There is a dresser and a large closet and it is the only room with a TV; the view of the lake is the best.
The bathroom is small but there is everything: sink, toilet, bidet and large bathtub with even the possibility of showering.
Both from this bedroom and from the living room you can access the terrace, which overlooks directly on a breathtaking panorama, with a wrought iron outdoor table, a bench and two deckchairs.

From the living room you can access, through a beautiful and comfortable stone staircase, on the upper floor where there are two other large double rooms, a bathroom and a large balcony.
To the larger and brightest room you enter through an old and original Art Nouveau wood and glass frame with the ancient inscription “premiere etage” (probably the house in the past was a hotel/accommodation… we don’t know now). The bed is antique wooden and very large and comfortable. In this room, in addition to the dresser, there is a large walk-in closet but that I keep locked because I use it to keep the spare linen of the house. From the two window doors you go on the balcony.

The third room, which is master too, can, if you need, become a room with two single beds. It is equipped with a large closet and it offers direct access to the balcony and spectacular views.

Finally there is the bathroom, with large tub, toilet, bidet and mobile sink.
